Thanks for checking in!  I’m Richard Stephens, a freelance journalist based out of Oklahoma City, OK. 

I’m ready to write articles for you on land/ocean travel, veterans, seniors, events, and history in the Southern Plains (OK, TX, NM, KS, MO, AR). I’ll travel further too, to get the story. 

The Oklahoma Veteran News Magazine and Senior News & Living newspaper publishes my work monthly.  Several newspapers along Route 66 do too.  GoWorld Travel magazine posted two of mine in Oct 2025 (Crete, Patmos/Rhodes)
